Leisure Heating Ltd introduced the original six-sided pendant heater nearly 15 years ago. Since then, infrared technology has advanced significantly, and our pioneering design has been widely imitated. In response, we’ve completely redesigned our pendant heater, launching a much more efficient short-wave infrared model. This new version delivers substantially more effective heat than its predecessor, without increasing energy consumption.

Like all products in our pendant heater range, this energy-efficient hexagonal 1.8kW unit with integrated LED lighting is designed and manufactured in-house by Leisure Heating Ltd, specifically for installation in thatched gazebos, pavilions, and garden rooms.

The updated pendant heater outputs 1.8kW of radiant heat through six 300W short-wave infrared lamps and includes a switch to reduce power to 0.9kW when needed. A central 4W LED downlight, equivalent to a 50W halogen, provides a crisp white daylight output and is controlled separately via the supplied 3-gang switch.
