The LHVC3 is a variable manual controller for adjusting infra-red heat output from a 240V using ‘phase angle’ control.  It also has a built-in surge protector making it particularly useful for the control of short-wave infra-red which has an inherent in-rush current on start-up.

Installation is straightforward for a qualified electrician or competent person. The unit requires two 20mm holes on the bottom or sides to accommodate cable glands (not included), as it does not come pre-drilled.
