The 4.0kW Time Lag Switch provides energy-saving control for exterior infra-red heaters and is equally suitable for damp indoor areas such as swimming pools.
Activate the connected load by pressing the touch-sensitive area; the power then switches off automatically once the pre-set time has elapsed. The illuminated touch area ensures easy operation even in the dark.
The unit uses a tough, hard-wearing polycarbonate case with an IP66 weatherproof rating to handle demanding conditions. You set the time lag from inside the unit, preventing tampering once it’s installed. With an adjustable range from 2 to 20 minutes, it works perfectly in smoking shelters, outdoor dining areas and pavement seating spaces.
By cutting unnecessary run time, this switch can reduce annual patio heating bills by hundreds of pounds.
