150W FLAT Infra-red Dull Emitter.

This long-wave infra-red dull emitter fits most pet and reptile heaters that use Edison (E27) screw lamps. It can be used with or without a reflector but if used without a reflector, care should be taken to prevent the animal from touching the emitter directly.

Rated at 150W, 240V.

Ideal for overnight heating in small to medium-sized pet enclosures and vivariums. Provides safe, gentle warmth without emitting visible light. It’s perfect for keeping cats’ and dogs’ bedding areas warm, as well as for reptiles that require heat during dark hours.

Dull Emitters are especially suited to reptiles, including tortoises and turtles. This is because they emit only long-wave infrared heat and no visible spectrum light. Since many reptiles can perceive a broader range of colours than humans, light-emitting heat sources can disrupt their natural sleep cycles. This makes Dull Emitters a reliable and non-intrusive option for maintaining nighttime warmth without affecting animal wellbeing.
