Description – Leisure Heating 250W Pet Heater with 2 Heat Settings and Ruby Lamp

This versatile pet heater comes supplied with a Ruby-coated infra-red bulb rated at 250W.

This model has an in-line switch to enable you to switch the infrared heat source down to a lower output. Position ‘Hi’ gives 100% output whilst position ‘Lo’ gives an energy-saving setting of approximately a third of the total output. This setting is ideal for low-level heat in the autumn or spring months when full heating is not required.

The heater comes complete with a 0.75m chain and is designed to hang over an animal’s bedding. The minimum distance between the heater and the animal is 1m.  This heater does not have a guard in front of the lamp.

The infrared heating element will heat the animal directly without having to heat the air first. The Ruby ‘Blown Bulb’ emitter produces short-wave infrared heat and a ruby light.

Featuring an Edison screw lamp holder (E27), the heater can also accommodate several different types of infrared lamps including dull emitters, short-wave blown bulbs, PAR 38 lamps and normal screw-fit GSL bulbs if required.
